Cyrano, the movie, filmed in Noto and Mount etna, Sicily in 2020.

At the time of preparation and filming, the country had strict Covid restrictions and was in partial lockdown.

During the main battle scenes on Mount Etna on the last day, the active volcano began to erupt. 

Despite this, the set was deamed safe, and we wrapped on time. 

As the film is a musical, the period drill is tailored to work with the music and dance movements. If you’re a drill purist, look away.
